What is Companionship?

Companion services are direct services provided to participants age 18 and older who live in private homes for the limited purposes of providing supervision or assistance that is designed to ensure the participant’s health, safety and welfare and to perform incidental activities of daily living for the participant. This service is intended to assist the individual to participate more meaningfully in home and community life.

reminding client to start or finish their meals

Every client requires different types of care, and our CareSphere team works closely with our clients’ physician or case manager to make sure their care plans are being administered properly. Not only will our caregivers perform these services, but they'll also teach and advise you and your family every step of the way so you understand the care your loved ones are receiving.

As seniors and their families continue to choose in-home care over more costly nursing homes and assisted living facilities, it is wise to explore affordable ways to pay for at-home care. Let CareSphere navigate your options!
